NEED HELP SHRINKING SWEATSHIRT?

So, I ordered a M field hockey team sweatshirt... i ended up being WAY to big. It's 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Does anyone know how to shrink it a sizable amount?!?!! please help. Or any type of alteration i can do? thanks =)
