What should i do need HELP?

don't know what to do...so my bf moved to canada from california 1 month ago he derived 1000 miles to be with me ,and he proposed to me 2 weeks ago.the problem is that he doesn't get along with my dad behind his back ...my dad wouldn't let me to stay with him at nights.he says that his parents need to come here and do all those old school traditions.I ve talked to him before and he said it is every dad's dream to see his daughter's wedding .but my fiance is mad and he says he is ruing this relationship "I drove 1000 miles for you and he should be happy that I did that no other guy would do such thing "what should I do ?I am so sad...please don't say dump him or leave your dad because I love both side alot!
