Does anyone ever find some ignorant questions unsettling?

lol You hit the nail on the head with this one. Its just down right silly, isn't it? I know we've all been taught "there's no such thing as a stupid question", but come on! I worked as a nurse for quite a few years. Although I worked more in geriatrics, I did do my L&D rotation. One of the nights I was there, we had a lady give birth in her own toilet! She said she thought she just had to poop and thought all the pain was just severe constipation. lol Are you kidding me?! The baby was fine, but all us nurses couldn't help but laugh and snicker everytime we thought about it. Was she really THAT uneducated? (and no, it wasn't some teenage girl trying to hide her pregnancy from her parents. It was a married woman who knew she was near her due date.)
