If things were good in 2000, how about we return gov't to year 2000 levels?

Excellent point. I would be in favor of going back to year 2000 spending levels. This mive spending that the government has been doing since 2008 is not sitting well with most people, even democrats. Every day there are fewer and fewer voices saying to give Obama and the dems a chance because every day they see that things are at best staying the same (bad). Next week, we will see for sure what the people think.
