Does the amount of people study Social Work in higher education correlate with the amount of jobs in that area

In the UK, I've noticed lots of people sudying it at Univercity or college, but are there anywhere near that amount of social workers jobs going. Anyone know the amount of Social workers jobs per year compared to the amount of graduates.
