After searching for about 2 months I think I've found the perfect car for me right now, but I still need your ?
Just call around to the independent ASE certified shops and tell them that you have your own pre-purchase inspection checklist and that you want to bring a car in to have the items on your checklist inspected. Then just make an appointment with the shop and make an appointment with the used car dealer to allow you to take the car to that shop for the inspection appointment. But of course you could just purchase a factory-certified pre-owned car and have peace of mind in knowing that it has had a thorough stringent inspection and that it has been refurbished to like-new condition and given a factory-backed warranty. But beware of dealer-certified pre-owned cars. They do not meet the stringent standard of refurbishment to like-new condition as does the factory-certified pre-owned cars and dealer-certified pre-owned cars will only have a dealer-backed warranty, not a factory-backed warranty.
