Welsh Corgi or Dachshund?

Hi, this will be my first dog and i have researched bothb breeds a ton. I know that both arent highly recommended for first time owners, but i love these these two dogs and know that they fit my lifestyle. I know that both can be a bit stubborn and dachshunds take a while to get housebroken. One thing I really like better about dachshunds compared to welsh corgis is that they dont shed as much and corgis shed all year, which i am not too excited about. Please let me know if you have any opinions or if you own any of these breeds.
