Is it abuse that he is doing to me ??? :(?

my boyfriend and i have been together 1 yr 4mths and we live in our own place. he gets mad over little things like not cooking supper right or having troubles playing a dance game that he recently bought me. he got mad about the game tonight, so i tried helping and he screamed at me. then as we ate supper he told me to shut the **** up" and "**** off" ..so i left my plate there and went into the bedroom.. he hasnt said anything else yet but i havent eaten in 3 days bcz he treats me like this and yells in my face when he cant do simple tasks..lately i havent even been able to cry because i just want to show him im tougher than him.. but this is becoming to be too often and ive almost hit the point where i want to actually throw food in his face or hit him because he makes me so sad inside every day... any suggestions?
