Is a gerbil right for me?

a gerbil would be good but for the first few weeks the will be less active because they will be over whelmed by all the new surrounding but they will get used 2 it you have to wait 24 hours before you can hold them or stick your hand in the cage (you can only do that f your changing their food water etc) basically you can just look at them for the first 24 hours but after that they will be good fun be sure 2 buy them a cage, water feeder, food bowl, food, and a few toy for chewing or hiding make sure you get something for them to chew on you can get chewing toys at the pet store or you can use toilet paper tube (which are great!) be sure to buy two females if you don't want them to to breed because if you buy two males they will fight to the death.
