Is a 2 yr. old too young to take the bit?

ok my tobiano paint filly just turned 2 on may 12 and she is doing great now on lead and i just don't know what else to do with her right now and when we tack up to ride she comes in and she like follows me around trying to get me to bring her along which we occasionally but when i had an extra bridle in my hand she came up and started nibbling at the bit so i decided to try to put it in to my surprise she willingly took and so i let her walk around for like 5 min the the bridle and bit on, but im worried if she is too young to have the bit in yet. also she tries to get me to put the blanket on her so its like she WANTS to ride, but i know she is still too young and id defiantly not done growing and probably wont be done till she is 4 so should i bridle her up occasionally and if so what would i do with her to teach her to neck rein from the ground?
