I sold my 21' above ground pool, and now I don't know about removing?

all the sand, anyone had this problem before, plus can you put sod ontop of sand, or mix dirt in and put down gr seed successfully? Does anyone know of any companies that will pick up the sand? any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks
